Well, I had a GREAT time in Indy yesterday. I didn't buy anything, but it was fun catching up with an old friend and browsing the upscale racks at Saks Fifth Avenue.
No photos sadly- all of the ones we took were over exposed and grainy, so not really worth posting on here. I had so much fun though, and hopefully we can all get a chance to get together again really soon.

I did do a little shopping tonight after work (and I mean little which is why I put haul in quotation marks- I didn't buy much). I traveled up to Fremont to the outlets, my boyfriend had to return his shoes to Coach because they were a half size too small- and after he was done there we popped into Ralph. I love Ralph, it's really a great place to shop, the brand is high quality and well respected.
Ok, back to the goods. I bought a belt and a bag (shocking). I've owned this bag in the past, but due to a series of unfortunate events I lost it a few years ago. And the belt is just a casual summer must-have, so I would have been stupid to pass that up! In all I spent about $25 and some change. The belt was marked at $19 with an additional 30% off, and the bag was only $10. Now, here is the fun part- the net proceeds of the bag go to the Ralph Lauren Philanthropy Initiatives. So the proceeds of mine will go to either the Pink Pony foundation or the Nature Conservancy. The tote is made from 100% organic cotton with organic inks which is a win-win for everyone involved. So I highly recommend picking up this tote the next time you are at the outlets. It's nicely constructed as well- so whether you're using it at the beach, shopping, or as an everyday bag, you'll find this bag highly dependable. And to find out more about the philanthropic initiatives click here.
Here are the pics:
I already plan to switch into this bag this weekend. It's a good alternative to my Marc Jacobs trash bag.
The rest of the weekend will be consumed by work, and the season premier of Downton Abbey on PBS Masterpiece and school picks back up on Monday- bring on the stress!
Friday Weigh In: 270.4 lbs
Lost: 4.2 lbs - Not bad for four days!
Until next time-
